What is tennis elbow?
A condition in which the outer part of the elbow becomes sore and tender due to tendon overuse and failed healing of the tendon.
What causes tennis elbow?
This occurs with repeated contraction of the forearm muscles that you use to straighten and raise your hand and wrist. The repeated motions and stress to the tissue may result in a series of tiny tears in the involved tendon on the outside of the elbow.
Treatment
This involves techniques to reduce the elbow pain, restore normal joint range of motion and function and facilitation of tissue healing and repair.
